Precision rifle blanks are the backbone of what we do. One thing that we hear a lot is that it’s clear that we care about every barrel that leaves our facility. Each and every one of our blanks gets the care and attention it deserves so that when it ends up on your gun it shoots like you deserve.

 

All of our blanks are double stress relieved, honed on a Sunnen 1600 barrel hone to within .0001″ from end to end AND hand lapped. We use only the highest quality German 416R stainless and we try to cut with 5R rifling as much as possible as our standard.

 

We have a variety of profiles that should cover just about any situation BUT if there’s something you want and don’t see it, please feel free to ask The Custom Nation to get a special order done for you!

CARBON BLANKS

Just like all of our Stainless barrels, the core portion of our carbon fiber blanks is made of the highest quality German 416R stainless. They are double stress relieved, honed on a Sunnen 1600 barrel hone to within .0001″ from end to end AND hand lapped.

 

These barrels feature a proprietary manufacturing process, where the carbon portion of the barrel is bonded to the stainless core. This gives a very low matrix content, for a more rigid and durable barrel.

The Custom Nation will have a variety of rifles arriving from December 2026 with our first shipment focused on some of the wildcat calibres including 25 Creedmoor, 22 Creedmoor and 6mm Dasher.

 

We have a standing order each month with our partner brands and as import procedures increase in efficiency we will continue to increase our distribution to all our stores.

Clients can head over to the "In Production" tab to view the line up we have incoming for the next 6 months. 

 

Clients can book one of our products or they can take the chance to wait for stock to arrive. The choice is yours, we will not hold or reserve stock for anyone and all items are on a first come, first serve basis.

This is impossible to guarantee due to ONE REASON:

 

SAPS import process. It is not the legislated and court ordered 21 days.

 

The Custom Nation is part of a group that has a four year US Export Licence and a 4 year Canadian Export Licence.
